1 Corinthians 11

1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
2 Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.
3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
8 For the man is not of the woman: but the woman of the man.
9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.
11 Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.
12 For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.
13 Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
16 But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.
17 Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.
18 For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
19 For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
20 When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord’s supper.
21 For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
22 What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.
23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.
27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
33 Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
34 And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.

The Desire of Age (DA)

The Chapter 72 “In Remembrance of Me.”

This chapter is based on Matthew 26:20-29; Mark 14:17-25; Luke 22:14-23; John 13:18-30

“The Lord Jesus the same night in which He was betrayed took bread: and when He had given thanks, He brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is My body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of Me. After the same manner also He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in My blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of Me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord’s death till He come.” 1 Corinthians 11:23-26. {DA 652.1; DTG.608.1}

Christ was standing at the point of transition between two economies and their two great festivals. He, the spotless Lamb of God, was about to present Himself as a sin offering, that He would thus bring to an end the system of types and ceremonies that for four thousand years had pointed to His death. As He ate the Passover with His disciples, He instituted in its place the service that was to be the memorial of His great sacrifice. The national festival of the Jews was to pass away forever. The service which Christ established was to be observed by His followers in all lands and through all ages. {DA 652.2; DTG.608.2}

The Passover was ordained as a commemoration of the deliverance of Israel from Egyptian bondage. God had directed that, year by year, as the children should ask the meaning of this ordinance, the history should be repeated. Thus the wonderful deliverance was to be kept fresh in the minds of all. The ordinance of the Lord’s Supper was given to commemorate the great deliverance wrought out as the result of the death of Christ. Till He shall come the second time in power and glory, this ordinance is to be celebrated. It is the means by which His great work for us is to be kept fresh in our minds. {DA 652.3; DTG.608.3}

At the time of their deliverance from Egypt, the children of Israel ate the Passover supper standing, with their loins girded, and with their staves in their hands, ready for their journey. The manner in which they celebrated this ordinance harmonized with their condition; for they were about to be thrust out of the land of Egypt, and were to begin a painful and difficult journey through the wilderness. But in Christ’s time the condition of things had changed. They were not now about to be thrust out of a strange country, but were dwellers in their own land. In harmony with the rest that had been given them, the people then partook of the Passover supper in a reclining position. Couches were placed about the table, and the guests lay upon them, resting upon the left arm, and having the right hand free for use in eating. In this position a guest could lay his head upon the breast of the one who sat next above him. And the feet, being at the outer edge of the couch, could be washed by one passing around the outside of the circle. {DA 653.1; DTG.608.4}

Christ is still at the table on which the paschal supper has been spread. The unleavened cakes used at the Passover season are before Him. The Passover wine, untouched by fermentation, is on the table. These emblems Christ employs to represent His own unblemished sacrifice. Nothing corrupted by fermentation, the symbol of sin and death, could represent the “Lamb without blemish and without spot.” 1 Peter 1:19. {DA 653.2; DTG.609.1}

“And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is My body. And He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; for this is My blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.” {DA 653.3; DTG.609.2}

Judas the betrayer was present at the sacramental service. He received from Jesus the emblems of His broken body and His spilled blood. He heard the words, “This do in remembrance of Me.” And sitting there in the very presence of the Lamb of God, the betrayer brooded upon his own dark purposes, and cherished his sullen, revengeful thoughts. {DA 653.4; DTG.609.3}

At the feet washing, Christ had given convincing proof that He understood the character of Judas. “Ye are not all clean” (John 13:11), He said. These words convinced the false disciple that Christ read his secret purpose. Now Christ spoke out more plainly. As they were seated at the table He said, looking upon His disciples, “I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with Me hath lifted up his heel against Me.” {DA 653.5; DTG.609.4}

Even now the disciples did not suspect Judas. But they saw that Christ appeared greatly troubled. A cloud settled over them all, a premonition of some dreadful calamity, the nature of which they did not understand. As they ate in silence, Jesus said, “Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray Me.” At these words amazement and consternation seized them. They could not comprehend how any one of them could deal treacherously with their divine Teacher. For what cause could they betray Him? and to whom? Whose heart could give birth to such a design? Surely not one of the favored twelve, who had been privileged above all others to hear His teachings, who had shared His wonderful love, and for whom He had shown such great regard by bringing them into close communion with Himself! {DA 654.1; DTG.610.1}

As they realized the import of His words, and remembered how true His sayings were, fear and self-distrust seized them. They began to search their own hearts to see if one thought against their Master were harbored there. With the most painful emotion, one after another inquired, “Lord, is it I?” But Judas sat silent. John in deep distress at last inquired, “Lord, who is it?” And Jesus answered, “He that dippeth his hand with Me in the dish, the same shall betray Me. The Son of man goeth as it is written of Him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.” The disciples had searched one another’s faces closely as they asked, “Lord, is it I?” And now the silence of Judas drew all eyes to him. Amid the confusion of questions and expressions of astonishment, Judas had not heard the words of Jesus in answer to John’s question. But now, to escape the scrutiny of the disciples, he asked as they had done, “Master, is it I?” Jesus solemnly replied, “Thou hast said.” {DA 654.2; DTG.610.2}

In surprise and confusion at the exposure of his purpose, Judas rose hastily to leave the room. “Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly…. He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night.” Night it was to the traitor as he turned away from Christ into the outer darkness. {DA 654.3; DTG.611.1}

Until this step was taken, Judas had not passed beyond the possibility of repentance. But when he left the presence of his Lord and his fellow disciples, the final decision had been made. He had passed the boundary line. {DA 654.4; DTG.611.2}

Wonderful had been the long-suffering of Jesus in His dealing with this tempted soul. Nothing that could be done to save Judas had been left undone. After he had twice covenanted to betray his Lord, Jesus still gave him opportunity for repentance. By reading the secret purpose of the traitor’s heart, Christ gave to Judas the final, convincing evidence of His divinity. This was to the false disciple the last call to repentance. No appeal that the divine-human heart of Christ could make had been spared. The waves of mercy, beaten back by stubborn pride, returned in a stronger tide of subduing love. But although surprised and alarmed at the discovery of his guilt, Judas became only the more determined. From the sacramental supper he went out to complete the work of betrayal. {DA 655.1; DTG.611.3}

In pronouncing the woe upon Judas, Christ also had a purpose of mercy toward His disciples. He thus gave them the crowning evidence of His Messiahship. “I tell you before it come,” He said, “that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I AM.” Had Jesus remained silent, in apparent ignorance of what was to come upon Him, the disciples might have thought that their Master had not divine foresight, and had been surprised and betrayed into the hands of the murderous mob. A year before, Jesus had told the disciples that He had chosen twelve, and that one was a devil. Now His words to Judas, showing that his treachery was fully known to his Master, would strengthen the faith of Christ’s true followers during His humiliation. And when Judas should have come to his dreadful end, they would remember the woe that Jesus had pronounced upon the betrayer. {DA 655.2; DTG.611.4}

And the Saviour had still another purpose. He had not withheld His ministry from him whom He knew to be a traitor. The disciples did not understand His words when He said at the feet washing, “Ye are not all clean,” nor yet when at the table He declared, “He that eateth bread with Me hath lifted up his heel against Me.” John 13:11, 18. But afterward, when His meaning was made plain, they had something to consider as to the patience and mercy of God toward the most grievously erring. {DA 655.3; DTG.612.1}

Though Jesus knew Judas from the beginning, He washed his feet. And the betrayer was privileged to unite with Christ in partaking of the sacrament. A long-suffering Saviour held out every inducement for the sinner to receive Him, to repent, and to be cleansed from the defilement of sin. This example is for us. When we suppose one to be in error and sin, we are not to divorce ourselves from him. By no careless separation are we to leave him a prey to temptation, or drive him upon Satan’s battleground. This is not Christ’s method. It was because the disciples were erring and faulty that He washed their feet, and all but one of the twelve were thus brought to repentance. {DA 655.4; DTG.612.2}

Christ’s example forbids exclusiveness at the Lord’s Supper. It is true that open sin excludes the guilty. This the Holy Spirit plainly teaches. 1 Corinthians 5:11. But beyond this none are to pass judgment. God has not left it with men to say who shall present themselves on these occasions. For who can read the heart? Who can distinguish the tares from the wheat? “Let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.” For “whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.” “He that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.” 1 Corinthians 11:28, 27, 29. {DA 656.1; DTG.612.3}

When believers assemble to celebrate the ordinances, there are present messengers unseen by human eyes. There may be a Judas in the company, and if so, messengers from the prince of darkness are there, for they attend all who refuse to be controlled by the Holy Spirit. Heavenly angels also are present. These unseen visitants are present on every such occasion. There may come into the company persons who are not in heart servants of truth and holiness, but who may wish to take part in the service. They should not be forbidden. There are witnesses present who were present when Jesus washed the feet of the disciples and of Judas. More than human eyes beheld the scene. {DA 656.2; DTG.612.4}

Christ by the Holy Spirit is there to set the seal to His own ordinance. He is there to convict and soften the heart. Not a look, not a thought of contrition, escapes His notice. For the repentant, brokenhearted one He is waiting. All things are ready for that soul’s reception. He who washed the feet of Judas longs to wash every heart from the stain of sin. {DA 656.3; DTG.613.1}

None should exclude themselves from the Communion because some who are unworthy may be present. Every disciple is called upon to participate publicly, and thus bear witness that he accepts Christ as a personal Saviour. It is at these, His own appointments, that Christ meets His people, and energizes them by His presence. Hearts and hands that are unworthy may even administer the ordinance, yet Christ is there to minister to His children. All who come with their faith fixed upon Him will be greatly blessed. All who neglect these seasons of divine privilege will suffer loss. Of them it may appropriately be said, “Ye are not all clean.” {DA 656.4; DTG.613.2}

In partaking with His disciples of the bread and wine, Christ pledged Himself to them as their Redeemer. He committed to them the new covenant, by which all who receive Him become children of God, and joint heirs with Christ. By this covenant every blessing that heaven could bestow for this life and the life to come was theirs. This covenant deed was to be ratified with the blood of Christ. And the administration of the Sacrament was to keep before the disciples the infinite sacrifice made for each of them individually as a part of the great whole of fallen humanity. {DA 656.5; DTG.613.3}

But the Communion service was not to be a season of sorrowing. This was not its purpose. As the Lord’s disciples gather about His table, they are not to remember and lament their shortcomings. They are not to dwell upon their past religious experience, whether that experience has been elevating or depressing. They are not to recall the differences between them and their brethren. The preparatory service has embraced all this. The self-examination, the confession of sin, the reconciling of differences, has all been done. Now they come to meet with Christ. They are not to stand in the shadow of the cross, but in its saving light. They are to open the soul to the bright beams of the Sun of Righteousness. With hearts cleansed by Christ’s most precious blood, in full consciousness of His presence, although unseen, they are to hear His words, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.” John 14:27. {DA 659.1; DTG.613.4}

Our Lord says, Under conviction of sin, remember that I died for you. When oppressed and persecuted and afflicted for My sake and the gospel’s, remember My love, so great that for you I gave My life. When your duties appear stern and severe, and your burdens too heavy to bear, remember that for your sake I endured the cross, despising the shame. When your heart shrinks from the trying ordeal, remember that your Redeemer liveth to make intercession for you. {DA 659.2; DTG.614.1}

The Communion service points to Christ’s second coming. It was designed to keep this hope vivid in the minds of the disciples. Whenever they met together to commemorate His death, they recounted how “He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; for this is My blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.” In their tribulation they found comfort in the hope of their Lord’s return. Unspeakably precious to them was the thought, “As often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord’s death till He come.” 1 Corinthians 11:26. {DA 659.3; DTG.614.2}

These are the things we are never to forget. The love of Jesus, with its constraining power, is to be kept fresh in our memory. Christ has instituted this service that it may speak to our senses of the love of God that has been expressed in our behalf. There can be no union between our souls and God except through Christ. The union and love between brother and brother must be cemented and rendered eternal by the love of Jesus. And nothing less than the death of Christ could make His love efficacious for us. It is only because of His death that we can look with joy to His second coming. His sacrifice is the center of our hope. Upon this we must fix our faith. {DA 660.1; DTG.614.3}

The ordinances that point to our Lord’s humiliation and suffering are regarded too much as a form. They were instituted for a purpose. Our senses need to be quickened to lay hold of the mystery of godliness. It is the privilege of all to comprehend, far more than we do, the expiatory sufferings of Christ. “As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness,” even so has the Son of man been lifted up, “that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:14, 15. To the cross of Calvary, bearing a dying Saviour, we must look. Our eternal interests demand that we show faith in Christ. {DA 660.2; DTG.615.1}

Our Lord has said, “Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, ye have no life in you…. For My flesh is meat indeed, and My blood is drink indeed.” John 6:53-55. This is true of our physical nature. To the death of Christ we owe even this earthly life. The bread we eat is the purchase of His broken body. The water we drink is bought by His spilled blood. Never one, saint or sinner, eats his daily food, but he is nourished by the body and the blood of Christ. The cross of Calvary is stamped on every loaf. It is reflected in every water spring. All this Christ has taught in appointing the emblems of His great sacrifice. The light shining from that Communion service in the upper chamber makes sacred the provisions for our daily life. The family board becomes as the table of the Lord, and every meal a sacrament. {DA 660.3; DTG.615.2}

And how much more are Christ’s words true of our spiritual nature. He declares, “Whoso eateth My flesh, and drinketh My blood, hath eternal life.” It is by receiving the life for us poured out on Calvary’s cross, that we can live the life of holiness. And this life we receive by receiving His word, by doing those things which He has commanded. Thus we become one with Him. “He that eateth My flesh,” He says, “and drinketh My blood, dwelleth in Me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent Me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth Me, even he shall live by Me.” John 6:54, 56, 57. To the holy Communion this scripture in a special sense applies. As faith contemplates our Lord’s great sacrifice, the soul assimilates the spiritual life of Christ. That soul will receive spiritual strength from every Communion. The service forms a living connection by which the believer is bound up with Christ, and thus bound up with the Father. In a special sense it forms a connection between dependent human beings and God. {DA 660.4; DTG.615.3}

As we receive the bread and wine symbolizing Christ’s broken body and spilled blood, we in imagination join in the scene of Communion in the upper chamber. We seem to be passing through the garden consecrated by the agony of Him who bore the sins of the world. We witness the struggle by which our reconciliation with God was obtained. Christ is set forth crucified among us. {DA 661.1; DTG.616.1}

Looking upon the crucified Redeemer, we more fully comprehend the magnitude and meaning of the sacrifice made by the Majesty of heaven. The plan of salvation is glorified before us, and the thought of Calvary awakens living and sacred emotions in our hearts. Praise to God and the Lamb will be in our hearts and on our lips; for pride and self-worship cannot flourish in the soul that keeps fresh in memory the scenes of Calvary. {DA 661.2; DTG.616.2}

He who beholds the Saviour’s matchless love will be elevated in thought, purified in heart, transformed in character. He will go forth to be a light to the world, to reflect in some degree this mysterious love. The more we contemplate the cross of Christ, the more fully shall we adopt the language of the apostle when he said, “God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.” Galatians 6:14. {DA 661.3; DTG.616.3}

Testimony: 06-24-2018

Beloveds, June 24, 2018. I was meditating on many things. Many things that the Lord has told me, that He has shown me, many questions from many people, many things that are happening worldwide. In the end, I was ecstatic in all these things and begging the Lord, really, asking the Lord with all my heart, for His people. [To] take care [of] His people on the broad face of the earth, [those] who are going to the mountains, who are wanting to do the will of God and that the enemy is, in one way or another, fierce with them so that they cannot achieve the goal that God wants for each of us. {Daisy Escalante: 06-24-2018 , en.p1}

Then, at that moment, while I was in all this, the Word of God came to me saying in this way: “Behold speak to the greatest leader of my flock: you have plundered it and you have filled your delicacies with its fat, and you have left it in bones and remains. There is none that you guide who does not enjoy your fat and your delights. Now then, what will you say, that it is the imminent last day? And, where will mercy come from if you have usurped my place, in my flock, and of your delights you did not deprive yourself, although you saw the affliction of the flock? Behold here, I take control of my true flock and none of them will I lose, nor will any be derailed. The yeast of your heart mined your mind and there was no discernment between the Holy and the common. Strange fire entered your hands, fire that I do not know; and with it you are staining my flock.” {Daisy Escalante: 06-24-2018 , en.p2}

“Woe (to) those who follow you, [with) envies, slanders, ungrateful, without natural affection, because they are bitten by the ancient serpent. Know therefore that I am the Lord, I do not change, and to each one I will give the just price. Depart from filth! And draw near to Me with an honest and humbled heart. Raise clean hands to Me; seek me while I can be found. Don’t you see how the world groans and convulses at my last arrival? Will others say to you: It is not yet the appointed time and the hour of His coming, it is not yet, and will you deceive your heart? And will you betray your heart by believing such a falsehood? There is no generation that has seen these things that, within them, does not know that the time is, already, almost fulfilled. What will you eat and what will you drink? Will you dress up in war and sleep to the sound of the horn? As I live, the Eternal, that not long will pass without the world seeing the prince of sin impersonate God and many, even those who know me, will adore him because they loved his delights more than Me.” {Daisy Escalante: 06-24-2018 , en.p3}

“Soon my people will be ready and together they will proclaim the final message. And, when you see this, you who sleep, will you have time to wake up? Put on mourning clothes because the great and hurried day is the day of the Jehovah and it is soon at the doors. The earth trembles and groans, the sea roars and the heavens denounce it. Could it be that everyone recognizes my proximity except the thinking beings? Woe to him who seeks an excuse to follow his own paths and makes fun of him who humbly seeks me! Because, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Be extremely ashamed of your condition and repent because, if not, I will come against you and you will be stubble in the middle of the dry land.” {Daisy Escalante: 06-24-2018 , en.p4}

“Foolish young men, who are after the vanity of the world! Do you not know that the Holy One of Israel weighs your hearts? Where will you escape in the day of trouble? And what idol of yours will be [your] defender?” {Daisy Escalante: 06-24-2018 , en.p5}

“Foolish women, who live life without desiring the Beloved of the Beloveds!”

“Men, you live longing for the fire of perdition and you think that it will not reach you! Will following the youth council, and its desires, be your escape? Will stretching adulterous breasts help you? Wretched you are with your misery, for you have chosen the path of perdition! And who will follow you? The one lacking in understanding, and detached from the truth.” He replied. {Daisy Escalante: 06-24-2018 , en.p6}

“You sold the truth for price; And what good will it do you? What good will it do you to lose the truth for a price? Was it useful to Judas? Was it useful to Ananias and Sapphira? Behold I put before you the scale and measure your way. What then, will I see?” {Daisy Escalante: 06-24-2018 , en.p7}

“The foolish man pays vows for his salvation, but the just rests in God, his God, trusting Him. ‘Because a thousand will fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come nigh thee,’ ‘but not so with the wicked who are swept away by the wind, therefore, the wicked will not rise on the day of judgment.’ You say in your heart: ‘I will not see bad but good’. But, behold, I come to you with derision because you have put aside the Holy One of Israel.” {Daisy Escalante: 06-24-2018 , en.p8}

He finished saying these words, beloved, and said to me: “Hosea 4: 6-10.” May God grant, may God grant, and it is my plea and prayer, that each of us hear the voice of God before it is too late for all of us. May the Lord bless you. {Daisy Escalante: 06-24-2018 , en.p9}

Hosea 4:6-10

6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
7 As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame.
8 They eat up the sin of my people, and they set their heart on their iniquity.
9 And there shall be, like people, like priest: and I will punish them for their ways, and reward them their doings.
10 For they shall eat, and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom, and shall not increase: because they have left off to take heed to the LORD.

Testimony: 09-14-2018

Beloved, today September 14, 2018, at 5:45 in the morning, the Lord woke me up with these words: it is urgent that my true people, those who seek me in spirit and truth, internalize and apply this. And then He said: do this and you will live. He told me: Matthew chapter 5, Matthew chapter 6 and Matthew chapter 7. Today is the day, beloved, that God has called His people on the broad face of the earth to fast and pray, to humble ourselves before Him, to ask His forgiveness, His protection, His care, and above all, His acceptance; Let’s read these chapters with a spirit of humiliation before God so that we can internalize this and we can apply it by His power, by His grace in our lives. {Daisy Escalante: 09-14-2018, en.p1}

Here, at the moment, we are receiving the waters and the winds of the hurricane or storm, which came down as a storm, which is passing under the south of the island of Puerto Rico, we are already in many sectors without light, with a few gusts and strong winds, so although it has become a tropical depression, Isaac, well, it does not stop bringing, well, greater results to an island that is fragile in many aspects, but let’s continue praying and trusting in our God, let’s do what God wants us to do, no matter where we are, there we can open our bible, His word, the spirit of prophecy, sing praises to the Lord, humble ourselves before God and by His grace and mercy reach the throne of the glory so that we can be accepted in Him, forgiven by Him, and saved by Him. It is my request and prayer that on this day each one of us will be in that thinking, in that feeling, in this acting, so that we can be a united people, even though separated by distances, but united in Christ Jesus on this day. May the Lord bless you all. {Daisy Escalante: 09-14-2018, en.p2}

Matthew 5

1 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:
2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,
3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.
26 Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.
27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:
32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
33 Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:
34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God’s throne:
35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.
36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.
37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also.
41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.
42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.
43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Matthew 6

1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;
18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Matthew 7

1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.
6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

Testimony: 12-03-2018

Beloved, December 3, 2018. In dreams I was taken to a place of reunion where preparations were being made for the Lord’s Supper. I saw that everything was done in a great hurry and without any dedication. My companion told me: let’s go to the kitchen. So I saw there, in it, a lady who was preparing the mixture with many things that were not representative of the body of Christ, and she cut old pieces of clothing and incorporated them into the dough. So, at that moment, I went to her and told her that this cannot be so, that it did not symbolize the body of Christ bruised for us, and it cannot have this composition; but she ignored it, and took it to the oven. At that moment, the dough, in the oven, smelled very bad, it was as if they were burning rubbish in a bonfire, that was the smell of that dough. {Daisy Escalante: 12-03-2018, en.p1}

So, at that moment I was told: let’s go. I was then taken to a large place, a room, and there I saw those who were waiting to celebrate the Lord’s Supper. These who were there, I saw them with a few glasses in their hands, taking a bottle with grape juice, and when I saw them drink they laughed, and then they grabbed their belly and began to vomit blood, I was very scared and asked: What is happening to them? Then I was told: these are guilty of innocent blood. Then I saw them again, I was told that they were leaders, that for positions and for remuneration they did not give the accurate warning, and the emblems of the Lord’s Supper on them condemned them every time more. In this moment that I was terrified by what I was seeing, because they kept grabbing their belly and vomiting blood from their mouth, blood was coming out of their mouth. {Daisy Escalante: 12-03-2018, en.p2}

At that moment while still contemplating this. I was taken to another place, there I saw how they were preparing for the Lord’s Supper. They were all there, the people, preparing for this moment, but they did not see the importance of washing the feet. I saw how they began with the distribution of bread and wine, which was unfermented grape juice, and they did not do the ritual of humility, the washing of the feet. So I said: what is this? And my companion told me: these practices are not those given by God, they are an abomination before Him. So at that moment I ran to tell them to look for the vessels to proceed with the humility rite, but they laughed at my supplications. I went to look for them myself and found them, they were disordered, muddy and hidden in different places, some of them even buried a bit in the ground; so I brought them, I started to wash them, but I couldn’t wash them completely, I couldn’t get them completely clean, so I said: oh Lord, I can’t clean them! How will they use them? Then my companion told me: they should each take a (vessel) and pray for them to be cleaned. So I ran to them, with the vessels, and gave them to them one by one, but they laughingly spat them out and threw them behind them. It was terrible, beloved, that scene. I exhorted them, but they did not pay attention, I felt almost fainting, but they did not care. So in that my companion told me: a Lord’s supper without the rite of humility is Roman culture, and this is an abomination before such a Holy God. {Daisy Escalante: 12-03-2018, en.p3}

At that moment, brothers, there I woke up. Praying to the Lord that each one of us can follow the instructions as God has left them, and that we do not customize or mold ourselves to the customs of men, to pagan customs. May God be the one who directs us and guides us at all times. May the Lord bless you. {Daisy Escalante: 12-03-2018, en.p4}

Testimony: 06-29-2019

Beloved, June 29, 2019. I was let known that we must, now, endure trials and hardships as they come, holding the hand of our Redeemer and Savior; because this will prepare us in the utmost for what is to come. I was very clearly told that no matter where we are, the persecution will come and we will all be tested in great magnitude, but it will not exceed what we can bear. Said my companion: the direct testimony of the truth will produce this, and for that reason, will the people keep silent? I saw a people that did not want to pass work, that even to obtain a sink and put it in their house, it must be to their liking because if not they reject it. Then my companion said: everyone who moves by tastes and preferences, skips the obstacles that could have prepared them for the final test, they will be found lacking. {Daisy Escalante: 06-29-2019, en.p1}

I was then taken to a place where there were many who asked to know about the word of God, there the word began to unfold, not as they used to unfold it. Said my companion: read and interpret. I began to read, and before my eyes certain truths appeared that before, although I had read them, were incomprehensibly to me. And I began to hear a voice that explained them to me, and I repeated that explanation. But while I was doing it, several got up and walked out of that place, they were upset by the direct of the message; I urged them to stay but they did not desist, so I kept reading and explaining, and I observe one of them return, he also came with other people, they listened there for a while, I finished and they called me to talk. Then, the person who returned invited me to talk at his house; I went, when I got there with them, and when I got to their house I was grabbed by other people who were there, and I was taken to a large trailer where they entered me there and opened some gas taps, and they proceeded to close the door of this trailer with me inside. I saw the door as they were closing it, and at that moment I heard a voice that told me: jump out of the trailer. Then I ran to the double door, which was almost already closed, and I don’t know how my body got through, but it was like a jelly that slipped through that still open cavity, and I was able to get out. {Daisy Escalante: 06-29-2019, en.p2}

I was ordered to walk, in inside field. I was able to see, from there in the distance, how an enraged mob awaited the signal to attack those who faithfully kept the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. These so-called “staunch enemies of the state” were, according to them, booked for destruction. Then my companion said: observe. My eyes were opened and I could see in those groups of the mountains, Angels exalted in glory that surrounded the small groups; these, only were governed by a “it is written” and only that. Then I looked at those who led the angry mob, and I saw that those who led them had been among those who were once part of those groups and did not want to let go of the world. {Daisy Escalante: 06-29-2019, en.p3}

The scene beloved changed and I was taken to many places in the world where my sight could observe the hundreds of groups that obeyed God, who were already in the mountains passing great tests necessary to mold their characters. My companion said: this is what it is about, the character, no one who thinks that what has touched them, chosen by heaven for you, is not necessary for salvation, is wrong; because even the Son of Man was chosen a preparatory place for the mission of saving the world. Anyone who is not satisfied and murmurs, after understanding this, will be removed, because great and last preparations are being made of heavenly character. {Daisy Escalante: 06-29-2019, en.p4}

Then He continued saying: whoever is afraid to save his life will lose it and whoever does not care about his life will be saved; Does the oak fear drought and move from its seats when it sees it coming? Even if this arrives, it will remain anchored because it has fixed its roots in the rock and in streams of living waters; Does the sparrow fear scarcity of food and lack of water? He gets up confident that every day he will eat and that is how heaven provides him daily; try to sow the good seed, water it, because this will grow and it will be given one hundredfold, and its sown land will never pass away, because heaven is ready to give abundant gifts to all those who with care and dedication have been loyal to their work; do not sleep like the others, stay awake and be sober, redeeming time at all times, every moment wasted now will be irremediably not recovered, and your souls will be in danger; remove your eyes from worldly vanity, and to the own convenience tear it from your lives; Don’t you know that heaven is effort and self-denial? No one, no one who wants to live comfortably today will arrive, because even the son of man suffered hardships, and His working life was His preparation for the ministry of salvation, or do you not understand that they did so with the green tree and how will they be with the dry branches? Do you meditate on this? Does the canary ask for his portion in advance and sit down to wait for it? Comfort and leisure, lost time is robbery before God, because for this many will lose their soul; disciplined in understanding and work, do not give free rein to our tongue in complaint, murmur and discontent; receive meekness and self-denial through hard work, and don’t speak fleetingly because even this is carefully noted; ask God, He continued saying, to free you from past thoughts of sinfulness and not externalize them so that they are erased from your lives; do not bring sin to your lips, if not you live in humiliation before God so that these are erased even from your thoughts, because if it is so, these are erased and forgiven in the book of life, do not be deceived, God cannot be mocked, live clinging to the vine and you will conquer in His name. Then He said to me: Ephesians 4. {Daisy Escalante: 06-29-2019, en.p5}

Beloved, faithful and true words of God, which I share with you. May the Lord bless you and may we fight the good fight of faith holding hands with Jesus Christ. May the Lord take care of you. {Daisy Escalante: 06-29-2019, en.p6}

Ephesians 4

1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 But ye have not so learned Christ;
21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Neither give place to the devil.
28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

Testimony: 09-20-2019

Beloved, September 20, 2019. The Lord told me at about 5:30 in the afternoon: “open the Ellen G White electronic library, look for the daily devotionals, do not look, give it to one and read what I will show you there.” So I did, I looked for the electronic library and when I was in the daily devotionals, I realized that they were all there, I closed my eyes, picked, I touched one of them, and when I began to read there was the story of Ezra, that day was September 10 , and I started reading. How wonderful was that of the daily devotional Conflict and Courage! which after reading it was that I realized, when I turned back, in which daily devotional I was. And at that moment I listened to the words of the Lord who told me: “there is the true key to transformation, the understood will understand.” {Daisy Escalante: 09-20-2019 , en.p1}

I leave this with you brothers. It is wonderful when we are approaching the sacred hours of the Lord, because we see that although throughout the whole week the Lord and heaven, all of them are very active in favor of the salvation of the human being, the sacred hours approaching, and in the sacred hours we see the great blessing of the Lord for each one of us! And as the Lord said: He is educating a people, He is educating an offspring, and each of us should learn on this sacred day, the words faithful and true of the Lord.” I hope this is a blessing for you, as it has been for all of us. May the Lord bless you all. {Daisy Escalante: 09-20-2019 , en.p2}

Ezra, Student and Teacher, September 10

Ezra … prepared his heart to seek the law of the Lord, and to do it. Ezra 7:10. {CC 259.1; CV.259.1}

Born of the sons of Aaron, Ezra had been given a priestly training; and in addition to this he had acquired a familiarity with the writings of the magicians, the astrologers, and the wise men of the Medo-Persian realm. But he was not satisfied with his spiritual condition. He longed to be in full harmony with God; he longed for wisdom to carry out the divine will…. This led him to apply himself diligently to a study of the history of God’s people, as recorded in the writings of prophets and kings. He searched the historical and poetical books of the Bible to learn why the Lord had permitted Jerusalem to be destroyed and His people carried captive into a heathen land…. {CC 259.2; CV.259.2} {Daisy Escalante: 09-20-2019 , en.p3}

He studied the instruction given at Mount Sinai and through the long period of wilderness wandering. As he learned more and still more concerning God’s dealings with His children, and comprehended the sacredness of the law given at Sinai, Ezra’s heart was stirred. He experienced a new and thorough conversion and determined to master the records of sacred history, that he might use this knowledge to bring blessing and light to his people. {CC 259.3; CV.259.3} {Daisy Escalante: 09-20-2019 , en.p4}

Ezra endeavored to gain a heart preparation for the work he believed was before him. He sought God earnestly, that he might be a wise teacher in Israel. As he learned to yield mind and will to divine control, there were brought into his life the principles of true sanctification, which, in later years, had a molding influence, not only upon the youth who sought his instruction, but upon all others associated with Him…. {CC 259.4; CV.259.4} {Daisy Escalante: 09-20-2019 , en.p5}

Ezra became a mouthpiece for God, educating those about him in the principles that govern heaven…. Whether near the court of the king of Medo-Persia or at Jerusalem, his principal work was that of a teacher. As he communicated to others the truths he learned, his capacity for labor increased. He became a man of piety and zeal. He was the Lord’s witness to the world of the power of Bible truth to ennoble the daily life. The History of Prophets and Kings, 446-448. Beloved, September 27, 2019. I was allowed to know that the enemy of God worked a lot from heaven and from Eden to lower the standard of salvation, because he knew that this would be the ruin of the mortal; doubt and hesitation will be the main cause of losing the eternal inheritance. I was let known that if we are nominal Adventists and not professed, what we know will be of no use, because we will be condemned by our works. No one should judge anyone, but there is one who judges, and He has His eyes all over the earth looking for thinking people. The testimony of the truth will bring by itself persecution and division, and this is inevitable, because the direct testimony of the truth raises the standard and the vast majority are comfortable in their state of ecstasy and lethargy. {Daisy Escalante: 09-27-2019, en.p1}

Adulterers, adulterers run the congregations, and lust sits on the benches to listen. Every seventh day, the prevaricator faithfully leaves his room to socialize with iniquity, and He who measures the hearts is aware of this. Remember the rebellion of Korah, remember Dathan and Abiram, what was their fate in lowering the norm; Remember, I was told, Eli that he did not raise the norm and did not reprimand his sons, and these in their prevarications got their death and that of their father; remember David, how a divert brought the curse to his kingdom; remember Moses, when he walked to Egypt and had not complied with the circumcision of his son and the angel of death came out to meet him; remember Samuel, Samuel who was faithful to God in everything, and his sons skilled in all evil by their own decision, but he kept away from them and faithfully followed God to the end; remember Daniel, who within a pagan empire maintained loyalty to God; remember Jeremiah, that although his eyes were oceans full of water, his tears could not prevent the punishment of the rebellious city; remember Haman, that his own wickedness buried him and all his family; remember Jonathan, that although his father Saul was tormented and possessed by demons, he remained by his side without reasoning cause and effect and found death; Remember Enoch, that when he had his son he could vividly experience how much his Lord Jesus Christ loved him, and that brought him closer to Him, but his love for his son did not prevent him from progressing towards Holiness without which no one will see the Lord ; remember Samson, did his parents fail to do their part in raising him, which would lead him to lust and dissipation? By no means, he was raised in the tender and loving love of the Lord, with Christian zeal and great reverence according to the piety of his parents, his own decisions led him to premature death, and by the prayers and nurturing of his parents his soul in the last moments was reached; remember Noah, I was also allowed to know, together with his three sons and others built the ark for one hundred and twenty years, in which they and their family were saved, and after great marvel and evidence one of them debased his heart; remember Lot, that to please his family he went to Sodom and Gomorrah and remained there praying but granting with the family desire, and this led him to lose all his possessions, wife and reaped the depravity of his two daughters; remember Jacob, that by deceiving his brother brought him the greatest misery in his family, because the deceiver will be deceived, and the abusive will be abused, misery, suffering and bitter pain accompanied all of Jacob’s life, only his escape was a genuine repentance and a walk behind Christ Jesus, only in this way did peace reach his heart, between the disputes between his twelve sons, two jealous women, and a dishonored daughter, Jacob lived the most bloody bitterness, but his safeguard was clinging to God. Why have I left you these words and even more, and you beg me for answers when this they are already said? Let everyone who wishes to govern himself well and rule his house read the Pentateuch before it is too late. {Daisy Escalante: 09-27-2019, en.p2}

I was not told more beloveds. We have a great task, to take out

a pencil and paper and in the light of the word of God let us learn from the teacher. May the Lord bless you all. {Daisy Escalante: 09-27-2019, en.p3}

Testimony: 09-28-2019

Beloveds, September 28, 2019. I was let to know that only the truth is what should come out from our lips. “That your preaching or speeches or your teachings be all in the maximum expression of light and truth, thus the power of the Holy Spirit and the commission of exalted angels -and the presence of the Son and the Father-, will assist in our meetings, and thus the true seed will be implanted in the hearts.” {Daisy Escalante: 09-28-2019 , en.p1}

I was allowed to know that we must not waste our time on criticism or anything that interferes with our duty. The road is more narrow now and will continue to shrink and we will see many loved ones and acquaintances left behind. If we love our salvation we must not hesitate. We are now in Adam’s trial when Eve fell, he for love of her with all conscience consented to suffer the same fate and this has been the most horrendous and cruel story that the universe has experienced; If Adam had remained faithful, the story would have been very different. Ask for discernment from on high and seek the Lord your God from your heart, and your understanding will be opened, and thus you will be able to be delivered from the great affliction! “Seek everything noble, everything pure, everything true and in this think.” I was let known that “the closer we get to the divine standard, the more attack you will have and the more alone you will be; accused by family and friends, of deranged fanatics and despised even by the children, their north should always be to look to the King of kings and Lord of lords.” It was let me known that “each family was a loan for each other, in order to avoid human selfishness, but salvation is individual; try to give the right touch to it with voice and example, and guide its way in the ancient path. No one will be able to see the Lord without holiness, extreme suffering will come in this hour, I was let to know, because decisions of great height are being taken; some prepare their lives for the side of rebellion and tyranny, and others walk the path of suffering and hardship. If your eye causes you to fall, take it out; and if your hand, cut it off; so my people who seek my face must do.” {Daisy Escalante: 09-28-2019 , en.p2}

“God cannot be mocked, I have not come to bring peace but a sword, because he who suckled from his mother’s breast will seek her destruction, and he who ate from his father’s hand will hate him; Seek strength in me, do not take your eyes off either to the right or to the left because great affliction I announce to you today. The illegitimate will become legitimate, and within the home the conflict will be extreme because each side will have its place, the husband will hate the wife and the wife the husband, because out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Betrayal and brokenness will solidify in the hearts of many, but loyalty and life in that of others. And how can two walk together if they are not in common agreement? Although your love is great and increases even more, suspicion and contempt will increase in them, so you will know who enthrons their hearts; There is no true love without obedience, because ‘by their fruits you will know them,’ because whoever imitates me will be hated, and whoever expounds my words will be sold for the price of his life. But if they did all these things with the green tree, what will it be with the dry branches? Will children’s love for parents save them?” And He answered: “no.” “Will parents love for children lead them to salvation? No, in no way,” He said. “Can husbands save each other and can man save their congregations? Never!,” He answered. {Daisy Escalante: 09-28-2019 , en.p3}

“Woe to the man who trusts in man!, let each one raise his head and see that his redemption is near, only loyalty to the law and to the testimonies will be your safeguard; look for my sayings, my laws and my statutes, look for me while I am still near, because days will come when you will look for me and you will not find me, you will call me and I will not go because time is finished; To the one you seek good will despise you. Is your heart safeguarded in Me, Keep it in Me and thus, you will find rest for your soul. Do not remove the cornerstone from yourselves because you will perish; the struggle of the family bosom is the saddest, it is the same that was lived in heaven with Lucifer, but the norm was not lowered, because it cannot be lowered and experience peace.” {Daisy Escalante: 09-28-2019 , en.p4}

“And Michael fought with His angels against Lucifer and his angels, and they did not prevail and were thrown out from heaven; remember Cain and Abel, this Cain killed Abel, and this Cain was banished from his family so that harmony would prevail in it; love casts out fear, and evil is not happy besides love, nor love besides evil. How then do you fight to have them together? These are lovers of themselves more than of God, and will not have part in the coming kingdom; Put your strength in what is profitable for you, take courage!, because truly I tell you that there will be no one without a family in the renewed earth, because they will build and plant vineyards and eat from them, and peace, justice, love and truth will be forever and ever; the enemy plunders and destroys, but I have come to bring life and peace, but while you are in this world you will have affliction, but trust because I have conquered the world; comfort your heart in this, because here I come soon, retain what you have so that no one takes your crown.” {Daisy Escalante: 09-28-2019 , en.p5}

Faithful and true words of the Lord that I share with each one of you. May the Lord bless you all. {Daisy Escalante: 09-28-2019 , en.p6}

Beloved, March 28, 2020. We will pass some quotes from the spirit of prophecy that the Lord selected for this commemorative moment of Passover, which you must read before that moment, this will let you know many things for the benefit of this moment. May you all be blessed in the word of the Lord. May the Lord bless us. {Daisy Escalante: 03-28-2020 #03, en.p1}

Those types were met not only in terms of the event but also in terms of time. On the 14th day of the first Jewish month, the same day and month in which for fifteen long centuries the Paschal lamb had been slain, Christ, after having eaten the Passover with His disciples, instituted that feast that was to commemorate His own death as “Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. That same night He was seized by ungodly hands to be crucified and slain. And as an antitype to the wave sheaf, our Lord was raised from the dead on the third day, the “firstfruits of those who died,” an example of all the righteous who will rise again, whose “miserable body” will be transformed and made “like His glorious body ”. 1 Corinthians 15:20; Philippians 3:21, NIV. . CES 81.6 {Daisy Escalante: 03-28-2020 #03, en.p2}

The time had come when Jesus had to celebrate that same feast with His disciples, and He sent Peter and John to find a place to prepare the Passover meal. Many people came to Jerusalem for the occasion, and those who lived in the city were always willing to give a room of their houses so that outsiders could observe the feast. The Savior had told Peter and John that when they went out into the street they would find a man carrying a pitcher of water. They were to follow him and enter the house where he entered, and say to the owner of the house: “The Teacher say to you: Where is the room where I am to eat the Passover with My disciples?” The man would then show them upstairs a large room furnished as they needed it. There they had to prepare the passover supper. Everything happened as the Savior had told them. At the Passover meal, the disciples were alone with Jesus. The days they had spent with Him at such festivals had always been joyful to them, but this time the Savior’s spirit was greatly troubled. At last, with a voice of moving sadness, He told them: “With desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you, before I suffer.” There was sweet wine on the table, and having taken a cup and given thanks, He said: “Take this and divide it among yourselves, because I tell you that I will no longer drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God comes. . ” Luke 22:11, 15, 17, 18 .. Christ was at the point of transition between two systems and their two respective great festivals. He, the immaculate Lamb of God, was about to be presented as an offering for sin, and thus would end the system of figures and ceremonies that for four thousand years had announced His death. While eating the Passover with His disciples, He instituted in its place the rite that was to commemorate His great sacrifice. The national holiday of the Jews was going to disappear forever. The service that Christ established was to be observed by His disciples in all countries and throughout all centuries. The Passover was commemorated as a commemoration of Israel’s deliverance from Egyptian bondage. God had indicated that, year after year, when the children asked the meaning of this rite, the history should be repeated to them. In this way, that wonderful liberation was to be kept fresh in everyone’s memory. The rite of the Lord’s Supper was given to commemorate the great deliverance acted as a result of Christ’s death. This rite is to be celebrated until He comes the second time in power and glory. It is the means by which the memory of His great work on our behalf must be kept fresh in our minds. The example of Christ forbids exclusivity in the Lord’s Supper. It is true that open sin excludes the guilty. This is clearly taught by the Holy Spirit. see. 1 Corinthians 5: 5. But out of this, no one should pronounce judgment. God has not left it to men to decide who will appear on these occasions, because who can read the heart? Who can distinguish the tares from the wheat? “Therefore, let each one test themselves, and thus eat of the bread, and drink of the cup.” Because “whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord unworthily, will be blamed for the body and blood of the Lord.” “He who eats and drinks unworthily, without discerning the body of the Lord, eats and drinks judgment for him.” 1 Corinthians 11:28, 27, 29. No one should be excluded from fellowship because some unworthy person is present. Each disciple is called to participate publicly in it and thus give testimony that he accepts Christ as personal Savior. CPI 541.2-CPI 542.2 {Daisy Escalante: 03-28-2020 #03, en.p4}

In the company of His disciples, the Savior slowly made His way to the garden of Gethsemane. The Passover moon, wide and full, blazed out from the cloudless sky. The city of pilgrim huts was silent. Jesus had been earnestly conversing with His disciples and instructing them; but as He approached Gethsemane He fell into a strange silence. He had often visited this place to meditate and pray; but never with a heart so full of sadness as this night of His last agony. All His life on earth, He had walked in the presence of God. While in conflict with men animated by the same spirit of Satan, He was able to say: “He who sent me is with me; The Father has not left me alone; because I, what pleases Him, I always do.” John 8:29. But now He seemed to be excluded from the light of God’s sustaining presence. Now He was counted with the transgressors. He must bear the guilt of fallen humanity. On Him who knew no sin, the iniquity of us all must be placed. So terrible does sin seem to Him, so great is the weight of guilt He must bear, that He is tempted to fear that He will be forever deprived of His Father’s love. Feeling how terrible the wrath of God is against transgression, He exclaims: “My soul is very sad until death.” {Daisy Escalante: 03-28-2020 #03, en.p5}

As they approached the garden, the disciples noticed the change of mood in their Teacher. They had never seen Him so completely sad and quiet before. As He progressed, this strange sadness was deepening; but they did not dare to question Him about the cause. His body was reeling as if it were about to fall. Upon reaching the garden, the disciples eagerly sought the place where He used to retreat, so that their Teacher could rest. Each step cost Him a painful effort. He moaned as if a terrible burden was weighing Him down. Twice His companions supported Him, because without them He would have fallen to the ground. {Daisy Escalante: 03-28-2020 #03, en.p6}

Near the entrance of the garden, Jesus left all His disciples except three, begging them to pray for themselves and for Him. Accompanied by Peter, James and John, He entered the most remote places. These three disciples were the closest companions of Christ. They had beheld His glory on the mount of transfiguration; they had seen Moses and Elijah converse with Him; they had heard the voice from heaven; and now in His great struggle Christ desired their immediate presence. They had often spent the night with Him at this retreat. On these occasions, after a few moments of vigil and prayer, they fell asleep peacefully at a short distance from their Teacher, until He woke them up in the morning to go out to work again. But now He wanted them to spend the night with Him in prayer. However, He could not suffer that even they witnessed the agony He was going to endure. {Daisy Escalante: 03-28-2020 #03, en.p7}

“Stay here,” He said, “and vigil with me.” . DTG 636.1-DTG 637.2

For the saddened disciples that was a Sabbath they would never forget, and it was also for the priests, princes, scribes, and people. At sunset, on the evening of the preparation day, the trumpets sounded to indicate that the Sabbath had begun. The Passover was observed as it had been for centuries, while the One whom it pointed to, slain by wicked hands, lay in the tomb of Joseph. On Saturday, the temple courts were filled with worshipers. The high priest who had been on Golgotha was there, magnificently attired in his priestly garments. Activity-packed white-turban priests carried out their duties. {Daisy Escalante: 03-28-2020 #03, en.p8}

But some of those present were not calm as the blood of calves and goats were offered for sin. They were unaware that the figures had found the reality they foreshadowed, that an infinite sacrifice had been made for the sins of the world. They did not know that the performance of ceremonial rites was no longer valuable. But never before had this ceremony been witnessed with such contradictory feelings. The trumpets and musical instruments and the voices of the singers echoed as loudly and clearly as usual. But a feeling of strangeness permeated everything. One after another asked about the strange event that had happened. Until then, the Holy of Holies had been sacredly guarded from all intruders. But now it was open to all eyes. The heavy tapestry veil, made of pure linen and beautifully trimmed in gold, scarlet, and purple, was torn from top to bottom. The place where Jehovah met the high priest, to communicate His glory, the place that had been God’s sacred audience chamber, was open to all eyes; it was no longer recognized by the Lord. With gloomy forebodings, the priests ministered at the altar. The exposition of the sacred mystery of the Holy of Holies made them fear that some calamity would come. . On that last sad night of the Passover meal, as He was about to go out to face betrayal and death, His voice was raised in this psalm: “Blessed be the name of Jehovah, {Daisy Escalante: 03-28-2020 #03, en.p10}

From now on and forever. From the rising of the sun to the setting of the sun, Let the name of Jehovah be praised. ” “I love Jehovah, because He has heard My voice and My supplications; Because He has inclined His ear to me; Therefore, I will invoke Him in all my days.” “The bonds of death surrounded me, The anguish of Sheol found me; Anguish and pain I had found. Then I called on the name of the Lord, saying, O Lord, now deliver my soul. The Lord is gracious and just; Yes, merciful is our God.” “Jehovah guard the simple; I was prostrate, and He saved me. Return, my soul, to your rest, For Jehovah has done you good. For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from slipping. ”Psalm 113: 2, 3; 116: 18 .. {Daisy Escalante: 03-28-2020 #03, en.p11}

Amid the dense shadows of the last great crisis on earth, the light of God will shine brighter, and the song of hope and confidence will be heard in the clearest and most sublime chords. {Daisy Escalante: 03-28-2020 #03, en.p12}

In that day they will sing this song in the land of Judah: We have a strong city; salvation put God for walls and ramparts. Open the doors and the righteous people will enter, keepers of truths. You will keep in complete peace the one whose thoughts of you persevere, because he trusts in you. Trust in Jehovah forever, for in Jehovah, the Lord is the strength of the ages ”Isaiah 26: 1-4 ..“ And those redeemed by Jehovah will return to Zion with joy; and there will be everlasting joy on their heads. They will have joy and gladness, and sorrow and groaning will flee ”Isaiah 35:10 ..“ They will come with shouts of joy to the heights of Zion and run to the goods of Jehovah. Their life will be like a watering garden and they will never have any pain again.” Jeremiah 31:12. {Daisy Escalante: 03-28-2020 #03, en.p13}

The history of the songs of the Bible is full of hints as to the uses and benefits of music and song. Music is often perverted into serving evil purposes, and thus becomes one of the most seductive instruments of temptation. But, properly used, it is a precious gift from God, destined to lift the thoughts to nobler subjects, and to inspire and magnify the soul. Just as the Israelites when they walked through the desert brightened their way with the music of the sacred song, God invites His children to brighten their pilgrimage life by the same means. There are few more efficient means of recording His words in the memory than by repeating them by singing. And that kind of singing has wonderful power. It has the power to subdue rude and uneducated natures, to liven thought and arouse sympathy, to promote harmony in action, and to dispel melancholy and forebodings that destroy courage and weaken effort. {Daisy Escalante: 03-28-2020 #03, en.p14}

It is one of the most effective means of engraving

spiriitual truth in the heart. How often does memory recall some word of God to the oppressed and despairing soul, through the forgotten theme of some childhood song. Then temptations lose their power, life takes on new meaning and new purpose, and courage and joy are imparted to other souls. The value of singing as an educational medium should never be lost sight of. Sing sweet and pure songs in the home, and there will be fewer words of blame and more of happiness, hope and joy. Sing it in school, and the students will be drawn more to God, to their teachers, and to each other. ED 150.2-ED 152.1 {Daisy Escalante: 03-28-2020 #03, en.p15}

Each family member dedicated to God — The instructions Moses gave about the Passover are full of meaning, and apply to parents and children in this age of the world …. {Daisy Escalante: 03-28-2020 #03, en.p16}

The father was to act as the priest of the family, and if he had passed away, the eldest son among those who lived was to perform the solemn act of sprinkling blood on the door lintel. It is a symbol of the work that must be done in each family. Parents are to gather their children into the home and present Christ to them as their Passover. The father must dedicate each member of the family to God and do a work represented by the paschal supper. It is dangerous to leave this solemn duty in the hands of others. The Review and Herald, May 21, 1895 .. HC 292.6-HC 293.1 {Daisy Escalante: 03-28-2020 #03, en.p17}

Christian parents resolve that they will be loyal to God, and gather their children around them in the home, to sprinkle the lintel with blood that represents Christ as the Only One who can protect and save, so that the destroying angel overlooks the beloved family circle. The world could see that works in the home an influence more than human. Parents maintain a vital relationship with God, stand up for Christ, and show by His grace how much good parental action can be accomplish. The Review and Herald, February 19, 1895..
